Plastic POM Delrin Bar

Material Introduction:

Delrin is known for its good mechanical properties and rigidity, close to the metal material. It’s an ideal replacement material of copper, cast zinc, steel, aluminum and other metal materials. Excellent fatigue resistance and creep resistance. Good abrasion resistance, self-lubricated and friction. High thermal stability, good chemical stability and excellent electrical insulation. And it can be used in temperatures ranging from -50℃ to +110℃.

Delrin is widely used for CNC machining of all kinds of rollers and wheels.

PLEASE NOTE! Our POM bars have about 2-4% of positive error tolerance which means that for example 25mm bars will be actually about 25.5mm to 26mm diameter. It is necessary for CNC or lathe machining. For the same reason we will give some extra length of material for each purchase. Our 1000mm bars are actually around 1030-1040mm of total length. Max length we sell is 1 metre.

Also our bars may not be perfectly straight and may have some scratches as they are are stored together without  protection. They are dedicated for machining, and cannot be used as linear rails with linear LM/SCS bearings without previous  re-shaping , please note.
